[lists] 0=&PreFlight, Pre-Flight Checklist 1=&Fuel-Load, Fuel-Load Checklist 2=&Takeoff, Takeoff Checklist 3=&Climb, Climb Checklist 4=&Cruise, Cruise Checklist 5=&Descent, Descent Checklist 6=&Approach, Approach Checklist 7=&Landing, Landing Checklist [0] 0=Set A/P Altimeter to desired flight altitude. 1=Set "Sim Clock", VOR's and Radios as needed. 2=Set GPS to desired destination. 3=Set Elevator Trim UP 1/2 Notch. 4=Set Flaps DOWN 1 Notch (8 degrees) 5=Check Fuel Load and OAT's. 6=Release Parking Brake. [1] 0=To Calculate Fuel Usage: (Assuming FL450, M0.80) 1=Divide the distance to your destination airport by 2.00 2=This is the aprox amount of fuel you will use in gallons. 3=Then ADD 100 gallons for reserve fuel. 4=Load 1/2 of your total into each fuel tank. [2] 0=Increase Throttle slowly up to FULL. 1=Rotate at 165 KIAS. 2=After T/O, engage A/P Altitude Hold. 3=Increase Climb Rate to +4,000 fpm. 4=Raise Gear, then Flaps, go to 75% N1. 5=Maintain 250 KIAS below 10,000 ft. 6=(The above settings will do this for you.) [3] 0=Engage GPS Auto-Pilot to put you on course. 1=At 10,000 ft. Lower vertical speed to +3,100 fpm. 2=Go to 95% N1, maintain Mach 0.48 airspeed up to desired altitude. [4] 0=For Altitude FL450: 1=M0.72, 414kts, use 83%N1. 2=M0.74, 428kts, use 86%N1. 3=M0.76, 436kts, use 88%N1. 4=M0.78, 454kts, use 90%N1. 5=M0.80, 460kts, use 92%N1. 6=M0.82, 470kts, use 97%N1. [5] 0=Assuming a cruise altitude of FL450: 1=At 130nm from destination go to 40% N1. 2=Decrease Altimeter setting to your approach altitude. 3=The descent rate will be -2,200 fpm. 4=(Above settings will put you aprox. 27nm from destination at 3,000 ft. MSL.) [6] 0=Maintain A/P Altitude Hold if desired. 1=Go to 52% N1. 2=Set trim UP 1/2 notch. 3=Lower Flaps 1 Notch (8 degrees) 4=Slow to 190 KIAS. 5=When in position, lock to A/P Approach. [7] 0=On Final Approach, put Flaps FULL DOWN. 1=Put Landing Gear DOWN. 2=Go to 52% N1. 3=Maintain 145 KIAS Minimum. 4=Disengage A/P at DH and go to "idle" power over threshold. 5=Make a manual landing. 6=Use spoilers, reverse thrust and brakes as needed.
